I had the pleasure of meeting Ezra while he was working on Cliff Road, Salcombe. He was
undertaking a challenging series of stone repairs to the boundary wall of Woodcot House and I
was impressed.
Ezra came to South Sands to work for me on a restoration of stone terracing that originally
supported a small vineyard.
The plan was to underpin and make safe the existing structure, repoint with morter where
necessary, and introduce another two courses of stone across the full lengths. Then one terrace
was extended up to the end of my garden.
Ezra undertook this work in challenging conditions, using local stone that matched in
beautifully. He takes a genuine pride in his work and puts in hard graft. He is reliable and
punctual. The work was completed in the time frame we estimated.
I would recommend Ezra and indeed I have asked him back for another project, so it speaks
volumes.
